about the look: ASOS blazer // Zara pants sold out, similar here // Steven Madden shoes // Jewelry
This look is all about the monochromatic madness and unique utilitarian(ness). I just made that word up, but you know what I mean. I love putting this look together. I’ve said this before, but my style wouldn't fit in one box. I can go from one style to another in a matter of days. There are a few things that stay consistent or true to me. I love to wear bright color; I love mixing vintage (or things that look vintage) with a little fast fashion. I like things with structure and form. I love the mix of something seemingly a little masculine in style but making it soft and sexy by wearing the blazer with no shirt and adding these beautiful jewels from Laxmi Jewelry. I found Laxmi on Etsy; they make the most beautiful traditional and Bollywood inspired Indian jewelry. The jewelry stands out so much I think pairing it with this look is the perfect touch of drama and glam to add to this utilitarian look. Some of my other favorite pieces that fall in this style genre are my olive jumpsuit, my Mango snakeskin pumps, ASOS paper bag waist skirt. These items are staples in my closet, and you can change the feel of your look by adding other complex pieces to give a whole new vibe as I did here with the jewelry and the pop of color neon suede pumps.
